Microsoft Windows 11

is  L05757-800 officially supported to replace 310W power supply in TE01-3254?  i don't want to blow motherboard.

i have attempted to contact hp support but they have no clue and couldn't even answer question.  i was transferred then to sales which said to talk to support (who transferred me).  LOL  cannot get good help these days so quite embarrassing.

@bee9110,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP ENVY Desktop TE01-3254 (319L6AA) according to: https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=319L6AA, has a 310 watt power supply -HP p/n: L10875-800 ("Power Supply - GNRC PSU 310W SFF Entl18 FR Gold").

It has been stated a number of times in this User Forum that the TE01 desktop series are compatible with the 500 watt HP p/n: L05757-800 power supply.

Hope this was helpful.

@bee9110,

The HP p/n L05757-800 is difficult or at least rather expensive to come by these days.  Here's one link that offers this power supply for sale (is on backorder via HP): https://www.impactcomputers.com/l05757-800.html.

thank much for reply.  it is crazy not even hp support can confirm this, especially since i just purchased it.  one would think they can simply look what you stated up in a compatibility matrix.

thanks.  i saw this previously but it is from 2020 and my model isn't listed so didn't know.

Hey Bee9110,

Willing to offer fellow member some knowledge?

Other than interest in increasing psu wattage (are

you adding dedicated gpu?) what are your honest

opinion(s) of the TE01-3254?  Shopping it myself.
