Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer is just over a month old. It takes too much time to come out of sleep mode. When it does, after pressing the on/off button for the compter, it boots up then the screen goes black again.

I contacted support and after an over an hour chat and him in my computer all  he did was change the sleep setting to  99999 then told me it was an  operating system issue.

 I purchased a 3 year warranty however, it's apparently just for hardware issues.  Now they want me to pay to fix the operating system issue. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue please??

I understand you have purchased a 3yrs warranty and have been told to pay extra for software support and you need assistance for the same, hence I have escalated your concern to HP's Support Team in your region to have it reviewed for available options (if any). 

 

You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding holidays & Weekends). 

 

Response times may vary by region. 

Please send a Private Message, if you aren't contacted within 4-5 business days.  

 

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (such as serial numbers and case details).

And Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,
