My desktop is getting stuck at HP screen and won't load windows.  I ran system diagnostic test  and the hard drive failed with the Failure ID 0gf04f-717a5w-9xpjxa-61ug03   Does anyone know what this code means?  Thanks!

@SPICEJENMOM Thank you for providing such details that help me get right to the point,

You've performed the hardware test and it resulted with the failure ID: 0gf04f-717a5w-9xpjxa-61ug03

Here's what the ID represents: failure code 307 (Hard disk/drive optimize failure)

You will need to get the hard drive replaced, this can be done either using the HP Part Surfer

Alternatively, please let me know if you still have a warranty on that device and which region you are contacting us from before we could provide additional support.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉

I hope that answers your query,
