My HP OMEN desktop will not go to sleep and then wake up when you press the power button, mouse or keyboard.  After following several solutions from this forum and even customer service support, none worked. I found out the solution to my desktop sleep issue. The Chrome browser (CHROME and MS EDGE) were allowed to run in the background. After taking them off from the background processes, the sleep issue was gone.

That's weird, but I'm glad you were able to fix the problem.

Unfortunately, the sleep issue returned. Still no permanent solution. Microsoft and HP need to fix this.
