HP Operating System Check won't launch

HP Recommended
HP 290 G2 Microtower PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm logged into the latest version of HP Support Assistant. The bubble in the bottom right of the taskbar says "Recommended action needed". I open HP Support Assistant but is doesn't tell me what's 'needed'. So I go to message center > open the message that says 'Having Operating system issues?' > click on Launch  (HP Operating System Check > nothing happens!
