Product: HP24 all-in-one(24-F006 t/I5-825OU/80/1H
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How run fan and temperature test on HP24 all-in-one? (24-F006 t/I5-825OU/80/1H? Unit shuts down w/o warning when idle - five times yesterday- and I supect the fan is faulty. Looked at all diagnostics, searched forums and did a Google search. no results. Fed up and thinking Toshiba, or Dell.... Help somebody. thankls in advance

I don't have access to any specific diagnostics I can point you to, but this thread (admittedly old, but still good) mentions several utilities you can download and install to at least VIEW the fan speeds:  https://www.tenforums.com/software-apps/23105-best-tool-monitoring-system-fan.html

 

I have personally used SpeedFan in the past and found it to be very useful.

Also try AIDA64 utility...it displays a lot of usefull information about your hardware, temps and fans!
