@3OBIDA,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

The latest HP BIOS version for your HP Compaq dc7800 CMT is version 1.35 (sp73582.exe) which you can download here: https://www.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=2037526&auth=At82snaUidNtrCvtF7wFYmllar0f3%25..., because the official link appears to be not working: HP Compaq dc7800 Convertible Minitower PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support.

Kind Regards,

Hi, @3OBIDA & @NonSequitur777

Here are the HP links to the last BIOS update info and exe files HP released for the dc7800:

v1.35

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp73501-74000/sp73582.html

The neatest thing this BIOS update did was to add the AHCI drive controller setting option to the mix.

Prior to this update you only had the choice of IDE or RAID for drive controller settings.

Not sure what's wrong with the support pages, but most of them do not seem to be working for the older HP business desktop and notebook PCs made more than 15 years ago, and it has been that way for at least a few weeks.
