Pavilion p6320f will not restart/ reboot after automatic Windows 10 updates

HP Recommended
Pavilion p6320f
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Computer blue light comes on but yellow light underneath is also on. Completely turned off and unplugged. When powered up again blue screen with F2, F11, and 2 other F options showed things to do but I am not familiar with what the Function keys do so did not press. Showed the square "Window" emblem , cursor and started the whirl as if window s would open. Then screen is just bluish grey, lights are on on computer and not able to use.

Hello, @Cjacobs - Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for engaging in the HP Forums! I see by your post that you are experiencing blue screen issue with your HP notebook. I will certainly do my best to help you!

Going through your post, I see that you are getting a blue screen while you are starting up the PC. To assist you with the issue, I need to know the following details:

1) Did you have any recent hardware or software update prior to getting this error?

2) Are you getting any error code while getting the blue screen?

If the issue started happening after a recent update, then you might be able to restore the system to a point before. System Restore automatically creates restore points, a memory of the system files and settings on the computer at a particular point in time. Then, when you use System Restore to restore your computer to a point in time before an issue began, System Restore returns your computer to the files and settings from the restore point. Your personal files and documents are not affected.

Go to http://hp.care/2uCDHVM and follow the steps under “Restore your computer when Windows cannot start normally”.

If the issue persists, try the steps listed in this document to help you fix the issue: http://hp.care/2oYIcKc

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂
