Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Suspect bad hd or corrupted software. Attempt to run recovery discs to restore operating system windows 7. Received error message 0xe0ef000e. This occurs when recovery is at 10% of disc 1. Problem occurs on previous hd and also on newly purchased hd. Help!

Test your computer's RAM before you do anything else.

I would hate to see you go to a lot of trouble, when you only have a bad memory module.
