The PC got infected and I wanted to reset it back to factory settings. However, all original HP recovery DVDs / USB have lost. I have tried with an original Windows 7 home premium from Microsoft but it doesn't work. During reinstalling attempts, all drives C and D were formatted, and all HP drives have been deleted. Now "Windows Boot Manager" requires a Windows instalation disc to "repair the computer". How / WHere can I find a recovery media set for this HP? Thanks.

Thank you for your post and welcome to HP Forums.
You can try to create a windows startup DVD/flash, using Windows USB/DVD Download Tool https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool and reppair your windows.
More info also can be found on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
If the issue still exist, please Contact HP on http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html to order Recovery Media Set.
Good luck!

kaleks

Thanks Kalek.
I have tried the link to Microsoft. It said that the product was pre-built in the PC, hence I should contact HP for help.
-Getting back tothe HP support webpage, I got the information "no drives or software available for this product".
-Trying to contact HP Australia on phone but no body took the calls!
-Having tried a link from another post leading to Best2services in UK, it also said that "no recover set available for this ptoduct".
I don't know what to do next !

Thanks, Kaleks.
I called 132347 at 4pm today, before posting the question to the forum. Regarding chatting, I met the virtual agent all the times, then I was redirected to the HP support page which gave information I described in the first post ! Moreover, on the HP support page, there is not anylink for purchasing a recovery media set!
I don't know how to talk with HP staff in person rather than a virtual.
