Sir I have hp20-2312in all in one desktop pc. It's 500gb HDD is not working . Now I want to replace it with 500gb SSD. I have recovery media kit for my pc including supplimental disc which is provided by HP. Can I recover my pc with the help of recovery media kit provided by HP. Now I am confused that my pc is compatible with SSD or not. Please help me.

It is compatible with a SATA-3 2.5" format SSD.
I highly recommend that you install an SSD that has a minimum of 256 GB in storage capacity.
If you can afford it, use a 500 GB or SATA-3 2.5" SSD instead. See the following link to an SSD that is compatible with your desktop AIO PC. https://www.newegg.com/global/in-en/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147674
I took a wild guess on your regional location. I have no idea as to where in the world you are.
You can use the HP recovery media to install the operating system.
You may have to prep the SSD before using the recovery media.
The drivers that are supplied by HP are loaced at the following link.
Try booting to the recovery media after installing your new SSD to see if it will install the OS on its own. I
f it does not find the SSD, just let me know and I will explain how to prep the SSD.
