Sorry, but if you have tested absolutely everything, there is nothing more I can do for you!
Either you have a step not taken.
Or it is likely that the SSD is faulty

i went into BIOS to check on it and my m.2 was not being detected,

That is a strong indication that the M.2 is failing, at least intermittently.

i grabbed an USB drive that had windows and ran diagnostics, everything is fine,

Strange that the diagnostics "found" the M.2 device -- if it is intermittently "not responding", the M.2 needs to be replaced.

If you boot from the USB drive, and the M.2 is detected, then COPY EVERYTHING (Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Videos, Favorites, Desktop files/folders) that you can, before the M.2 is PERMANENTLY DEAD.

so i ran more diagnostics in the hp thing all passed,

Note that a disk-drive (spinning or SSD or M.2) can physically be fine, i.e., diagnostic programs can "exercise" it -- read and write tests --- while the file-system is logically a mess.  For example, the first few files that are loaded from the disk-drive when you "boot" Windows, have been overwritten or deleted. Compare to a steak-knife that physically looks OK, but it is in definite need of sharpening, to work as smoothly as it was logically designed to do.

Note that free software, such as "Macrium Reflect", if it can read from the M.2, can "clone" the M.2's contents onto an empty disk-drive. Then, replace the M.2, and "clone" back to the replacement M.2 from the copy.
