have had my computer for almost 2 months and may display says port inactive cdmi inactive what do I do??

Indicated in the title a monitor model
but so the computer?
If you have no display on a monitor, several possibilities
The computer does not start correctly, so no display
Graphics card not working, no display
a connector of the computer, or of the screen has a problem..
if possible try another monitor, does not work, it is at the level of your computer
Try your monitor, with another video source, if works, again, probably your computer
So first thing to do, check if the monitor works
