Can not download excel file from a website. Indicates file is corrupted

HP Recommended

Yes, I currently have Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 installed in my computer.  I am trying to download an excel file from a learning website to my computer however; it is indicating that the file is corrupted? Can you please tell me why this is happening and how it can be resolved?

Thank you!!

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Need to know (1) what OS version you are running (e.g., Win7, Win8x, Win10), and (2) what Browser you are using to connect to the website.

Also, if the website is publicly accessible, providing the link for the file will help one of us try to download it and see if that works.

We can proceed when you provide the information.

Thanks

Hello,

Yes, the browser I am currently using is Firefox.  I also tried it with Internet Explorer and Chrome and it did not download, as well.  I am using Windows 10. It actually downloads to Excel however; the file itself does not appear.  The page is blank?

Below is the link to the website. It will be under exercise files on the top right corner.

Thank you for your prompt response!

@Steenagee

The "free trial" link says it will start  billing AUTOMATICALLY -- so, of course, I did NOT attempt to download the course.

Sorry, but it looks like you're going to have to contact the course provider to see what assistance they can provide.

Oh My! That's correct! I apologize...I overlooked that!

Is there some way I can attach the file to this message, since I do have the file downloaded?

Thanks!!
