Error code 0x80004005

Hi,

I have iTunes installed on this brand new computer (have been using iTunes with my old Gateway for years) and I tried to burn an audio disc using cd-r discs like I have always done and only some of the songs would burn onto the disc. I would then get the error message:

"The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (0x80004005)".

Why did this happen? I am using Windows 10 now (was using Windows 7) and I have tried many things suggested on the forum but none have worked.

Any other suggestions I can try?

Thanks,

Gail

Hi Gail

Have you tried the ITunes forums? 877 ITunes users are having the same issue.

It looks like it may be a problem on Apple's end.
