I found HP Touchpoint Manager unexpectedly deployed on my PC earlier this week (16/11) - obviously without my consent. I understand that it hoovers all sorts of telemetry data - and I am not willing to share too much of it really, definitely not without my knowledge.
Any idea how this piece got installed and by what? No sign of the installation via HP Support Assistant, it only appeared in Program & Features all of a sudden.
Anybody else having it quietly installed as well?
I got rid of it in the meantime.

Little Correction: It*s called "HP Touchpoint Analytics Client".
,,, and I've got it secretly too on my Pavilion 15 Laptop.
Deinstalling from windows apps was easy, and until now
(with no other updates pending at present)
starting the "HP Support Assistant" doesn't try to install it again.
I REALLY WANT AN OFFICIAL RESPONSE FROM HP ON THIS!
Yes, an official HP-statement would be highly recommended in my opinion too!

It should just work? If not, try this:
or any other similar software.
I cannot download AdvancedUninstaller. My antivirus does not allow me to download it. I tried different browsers and all are just freezing and then the message appears with the malware warning. What else can I try?
