HP Recommended

My HP laptop keeps updating almost every other day, then immediately says “something didn’t go as planned-undoing changes”. I can understand my laptop is a little old but it’s getting quite ridiculous. It does this at the WORST times, especially when I have a lot of work to do. Any suggestions?
