Help with Updates

HP All-In-One 20-c013w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community.  I just purchased through a Pawn Shop a HP All-In-One 20-c013w.  Ive gone through and changed the administrator to myself, plus a few other tweaks.  Now I would like to go through HP Support Assistant to make updates to the system.  Under the blue question mark in the bottom right corner, it has a yellow box with 2 exclamation points on it.  The machine won't let me do any updates at all.  Is there something I'm missing or should be doing to get these updates?  I did find out the warranty for this machine ran from 8/17/17 - 8/6/18.   Please help.  Thank you!   Sandy49

@Sandy49, welcome to the forum.


Sometimes the older versions of HP Support Assistant can be tempermental.  I suggest that you install the latest version here.  Also, when you have installed the latest version make certain that your computer is correctly identified by HPSA.  I was recently alerted to the fact that a different model was displayed.  If so, HPSA won't do the updates.
