I want to disable the fn key in my 23-n010la All-in-One Desktop PC

23-n010la All-in-One DesktopPC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been trying to change the settings regarding the fn key, but my BIOS doesn't have the same display of the easy-to-find tutorials online, lacking the "System Configuration" tab. I would like to know how to disable it or at least change its configuration to be able to use the useful shortcuts provided by f1 to f12 keys without having to press the fn key.

In my oppinion, having to press the fn key makes it anyhting but a true shortcut.

In the BIOS, an Fn key is called an action key. I hope that helps you.

You should disable the action key.

Once you do that, the Fn keys will work when they are pressed without having to use the Fn key.

Thanks for your reply, but the issue is that the option doesn't even appear in my BIOS. It's regularly under the "system configuratoin" tab as "action key", but I haven't been able to locate it and I've navigated all the BIOS.

Then if that is the case you are stuck with having to press the Fn key.
