The problem is in Outlook.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did not see some of the letters I received earlier. When I try to open a message in a separate window, the following error appears in the interface: "Unfortunately, the item could not be opened. Perhaps this is a temporary problem, but if it reappears, restart Outlook." I also tried to log in under my account from another PC - the same result, the letters do not open. Apparently, they did not come from the server, but did not get into the archive. What else can I try to open?

Which Outlook you are talking about ? Outlook from Microsoft Office or Outlook from Windows ?


Over 6 weeks during April and May 2018. Office forums could not solve problem for me on two computers (one with MS Office 2016 Home and Business and one with MS Office 2016 Pro Plus) Ending up, I have to re-install MS Office on both machines.

When replacing a .pst file. Make a Copy of the File you are going to use and use the Copy. Then, if anything goes wrong you still have the original file.
I am no expert so wait until someone tells us whether this is right or not.
Delete the corrupted .pst file and then import the new .pst file

But if you don't have Convert OST to PST Online microsoft outlook. I would suggest you some effective solutions from Google, I found it some weeks ago
