Nothing works. I can't even play movies from dvd's

A window came up saying to format a disk that windows can recognize. I don't think that is my problem as no disk of any kind will not play.

I have check ever update driver that I know of and been told to do still nothing.

Medi gold, media old and media plater S keeps coming up.

I am not tecnitcally sabie so need to be told in steps if anyone can help.

Thanks

@lav33411,

It benefits your inquiry if you state the exact moel number of this HP 23 series.

That way, I can took up the installed software.  You reply was a tad shy of the "nothing works" program name(s).

These 2 programs should help.   VLC Media player   and a generic burner, aka CDBurnerXP

@lav33411,

Did you try the 2 programs I mentioned (linked).

Your example of a Product ID is flawed.  It's on the tag.

Here is a vaild example.   F3D37AA#ABA    I only need the characters in RED.

It's been days since your last posting.  Hope to hear from you soon.
