connecting active stylus issue

HP Recommended
pavillion x960

I've recently purchased a hp pavillion x360 model no: 15-bro15na I was told this product supports an active stylus.

through some research on forums i was told the hp pro active pen should work with this laptop.

I cant seem to get the pen to connect. If anyone could offer some suggestion or help it'd be much appreciated.
