Since day one my laptops inbuilt web cam is out of sync with the audio, by a few seconds, even when I'm right next to the fibre hub. Any ideas, as I have to use my 4 year old Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to use Whats App? Cheers

Hi @Chrali ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the webcam on your HP Envy 360. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:
- Update Drivers: Make sure your webcam drivers are up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause syncing issues. You can typically update drivers through Device Manager on Windows or through HP's support website.
- Check Settings: Check the settings in your webcam software or the app you're using for video calls. Sometimes there are settings related to audio and video synchronization that can be adjusted.
- Adjust Audio Settings: Try adjusting the audio settings on your computer to see if that helps. You can try different audio devices or adjust the audio settings in the Control Panel on Windows.
- Close Background Programs: Sometimes background programs can interfere with the performance of your webcam. Try closing any unnecessary programs running in the background and see if that helps.
- Test in Different Apps: Try using your webcam in different applications to see if the issue persists across all apps or if it's specific to one.
- Hardware Check: If none of the software solutions work, it's possible there could be a hardware issue with your webcam. In this case, you may need to contact HP support for further assistance or consider having the webcam repaired or replaced.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
