I have the HP Envy and I also have a green line that appeared on the left side of my screen. They told me I could take it to Geek Squad and Geek Squd called it a scrap out. They wouldn’t replace it because I bought it from HP. If I had bought it from Best Buy - I would have received a brand new computer. HP is demanding that I return the computer to them and pay for the repair. I will never buy another computer from HP. Com. Nobody cares about your business- there is an issue with this computer that they’re not acknowledging. They won’t even stand behind their warranty.

Hi @EMB2024,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you might be experiencing a display issue with your HP Envy All-In-One PC. A green line appearing on the left side of the screen could be caused by various factors such as a hardware malfunction, a loose connection, or a software glitch. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
- Restart your computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve minor software glitches.
- Check for driver updates: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can usually find and update drivers through the Device Manager or by visiting the HP support website.
- Inspect the physical connections: Ensure that all cables connecting your PC to the monitor are securely plugged in. A loose connection could cause display issues.
- Run a display test: HP Envy PCs often come with built-in diagnostic tools. Check your user manual or the HP support website for instructions on how to run a display test to identify any hardware issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
