COnnection problems

HP Recommended
HP Pavillion DM3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I cannot get this computer to connect to my Arris Tg1672 router

I have Spectrum Cable,  my computer recognizes the network without a problem but will not connect.  Says the signal is excellent.

I have rebooted both computer and router.

I also have a control home automation system and have rebooted all of that as well.

Do I need a different driver on the computer?

Hi

Is Ethernet available?   If so does it connect?

If you could use inSSIDer to see what networks are available to you, and I hesitate to say...

is it the same frequency?  2.4 to 2.4  5.0 -- 5.0 or a Hybrid.

inSSIDer shows something like this...

ChannelClogging.png

So I know channel 11 is my strongest signal and actually my WiFi.

And by putting in some of the details below...

Wireless LAN adapter WiFi:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . :
   Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
   Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 48-46-44-54-56-58
   DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
   Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
   Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : f::57(Preferred)
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.13(Preferred)
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
   Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : 21 September 2017 13:52:53
   Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : 28 September 2017 13:52:57
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
   DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 1
   DHCPv6 Client DUID. . . . . . . . : 08

                                       8.8.4.4
   NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled

The network SSID and passkey.

So please explain what part is missing or giving the signal strength.
