Envy recline 27 no hdmi out

HP Recommended
I didn't notice until too late that the envy recline 27 only had HDMI IN. I'm probably SOL but is there anyway to make it HDMI OUT? It'd be nice to have a second monitor.

Hi,

Many AIO computers do not HDMI out. All you need is an USB video card with HDMI such as:

Regards.

Thanks for your info. I started a little basic research and I read that both touchscreen's and AIO computers don't work well with these.

I found this one on the HP website: http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/10389829/mfg_partno/USB32HDE

My question is will this work with my computer. I have an Envy Recline 27 k150 (pretty sure on the model number). Thanks if you or someone from HP has the information.

I just did this to my HP Envy 27 yesterday so I could have a second monitor (HP).  However, it created a new problem, my audio from my Envy does not play while the 2nd montior is connected.  If I disconnect this, audio works fine.  What needs to be tweaked???

Sorry to come to this so late. I am having the same issue of hooking my Envy Recline 27 K350.

What kind of USB - HDMI hookup do you have? I have been through a couple:

The first would flicker:

https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Multiple-Monitors-Windows-Support/dp/B0787XZ371/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&q...

The second wouldnt recognize my PC:

https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-USB-HDMI-Adapter-External/dp/B00H91BQ7Y

The EVGA one mentioned above is currently unavailable, and I was wondering what other options might exist for those who have had success with USB to HDMI output.

Thank you!
