2 days ago I did a factory reset on my computer. before doing so i backed up all my files to an external hard drive so nothing is lost. my computer was just full of junk and i wanted to get rid of everything and start fresh. I went thrue the windows settings and chose the option to reset everything and reinstall windows. then the restarting screen came up, so i waited overnight, in the morning it was just a black screen but the computer was still on, so i powered off my computer and turned it back on again, did this several times, but the monitor is not getting a signal still. I assumed that the drivers were deleted so i tried plugging my monitor into my graphics card and the motherboard but neather seem to do anything, the monitor still gets no signal.

Hi there @LashaAre,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  I understand that your display is not coming up after you attempted a factory reset.  I am happy to give you a hand with this.

Had your operating system ever been upgraded to a completely new version, or was a retail installation ever used before?  If yes, then your factory recovery image may no longer have been functional.  Do you have any recovery media for your system that you may have previously created?  If not then you may find this of help: HP PCs - Obtaining HP Recovery Discs or an HP USB Recovery Drive

Also are you able to test your display connected to another device to rule out a display failure?

You can also check out this once you have verified that your display is good: HP Desktop PCs - Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10,8)

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
