HP w1907 monitor

I am trying to hook up my PlayStation 4 to my HP w1907 computer monitor. We bought a VGA to HDMI converter and hooked it up properly. We had like 5mins of it working then it goes black, says there is no VGA input signal and keeps going to sleep. Can anyone offer any help?

Wywrestler93, welcome to the forum.

This is normally a software problem.  I am not familiar with PS4, so I don't know what you have to do to update the Firmware, but this is what I would try if you haven't done so.

My PS4 has the current update already. I need to know if I'm missing something in my setup or if there could be an issue with the monitor.

Thank you for the additional information.

Since I am not familiar with the PS4 and how thery connect to a monitor, here is a guide that should help you make certain you are doing things correctly.
