Product: Elite X3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

- Poor camera quality compared to similarly priced phones - I'm spoiled by my old 950 XL-  No Glance screen 😞

 

- No double-tap to wake (or at least it is useless)

 

- NFC does not support mobile payment. Per HP support site, “Microsoft Wallet payment functionality is not fully supported, at this time, for the HP Elite X3. It can be used for loyalty cards but not for credit cards or payments.”  That support comment is silly. They should commit to it or not. Saying "at this time" doesn't help - is the hardware capable?

 

- Continuum won’t find my Roku Stick for Wireless Display while my Lumia 950 does just fine.

 

- Display drivers are a little clunky. Rotating screen while watching a video full-screen causes a momentary blackout to appear which does not happen on 950 XL.  Also, web page scrolling, etc. is not as smooth.

 

It is indeed a nice phone and the hardware built is excellent.  I also love the size as its like my old Lumia 1520. It's perhaps the only high-quality option available on the market however, I'm struggling with keeping it as I find these issues. Deadline for returns is tomorrow and I'd hate to find another issue after I decide to keep it.
