Hi there,

 

I recently purchased a second-hand HP Z VR G1, it has a 4-core i7 7th Gen processor, 32gb ram and a P5200 graphics card with16gb VRAM.

 

Just wondering if it would be technically possible to upgrade the CPU  to a 7th Gen core i9 processor? Without killing it..

The i7-7820HQ processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.
