Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Second time this happens with Genuine HP Batteries. First original battery that came with laptop purchased new lasted 1.5 years before not holding charge and slightly swollen and cells separated. HP sent replacement and just under 1 year mark after replacement, the current battery - even though functions and holds charge fine - has swollen up so much that the touchpad is visibly raised up by 1/3"; spacebar and touchpad had gotten stuck or not working. Hot to touch right of touchpad, next to arrows.

Laptop is lightly used for basic emailing and browsing on a desk year round, no travel whatsoever. Never been dropped or damaged.

Completely different issue, screen started slightly flickering after 2 months of purchase, but only happened every few months not noticeable at all. In the past few months screen had gotten really bad flickering with big vertical lines covering part or entire screen or completely faded out at time when typing. Leaving a video playing in full-screen actually helps get rid of the flickering until typing or slight movement of laptop. Have to switch to using wireless keyboard and mouse to work around battery, keyboard/touchpad, flickering issues for now.

Very disappointed with quality of this 3 years old laptop.
