Hello, I would like to know what CMOS battery my laptop is using. I'm planning on replacing it because of the CMOS error. Can anyone please help me find the specific CMOS battery? For reference, my laptop is OMEN, by HP 15 ce001ne Product number is 2CJ33EA#ABV. I did my research on the internet and found nothing also, my manuals are long gone.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Most HP notebooks that come with an internal battery such as yours, do not have a separate CMOS or RTC (Real Time Clock) battery.

The internal battery is supposed to maintain the CMOS and RTC settings.

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, you will not see a part listed for a CMOS/RTC battery.

If you look at Chapters 5 & 6 of the service manual, you will not see a procedure to remove or replace the CMOS/RTC battery.

Test your main battery to see if there are any issues, because it may need to be replaced.
