Product: HP Omen Model 15-ce018dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is 3 years old now and I noticed that my battery is swollen and needed a replacement. Out of curiosity, why did my battery got swollen? Is it because it's charging while I'm using it? but I've searched that it stops charging at 100% so why did this happen? 
Help me please.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the battery and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
