HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0013nt
Microsoft Windows 11

product name: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0013nt

After 1-year starts making noise when I turn it on and it disappears for a while and comes back again.

THE NOISE SOUND IS LIKE CLINKING OR RATTLING NOT THE USUAL SOUND IT SUDDENLY STARTS WHEN I TURN IT ON.

I contacted the Support Center on Whatsapp and they told me the problem from the fan and to use a vacuum to suck the dust from it. (it didn't fix it)

 Has anyone faced the same issue and what should I do?

@BARGO,

If I had to guess -though I am not a betting person, the noises you describe originate from a moving part or parts.

My first suspect would indeed be your cooling fans -please check. According to https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06513390 your gaming laptop has two of them.  I would disassemble your laptop and physically inspect them/clean the cooling fans. Here's a Youtube video that may be useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBGlhaKUPbo.

Since this is a gaming laptop, these cooling fans undoubtedly have seen extensive use.  One or two fans may be wearing out.  If after cleaning the fans the noises persist, it may be time to replace them.  Fortunately, replacement cooling fans for your laptop are not too expensive.  Assuming your GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB according to https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c06432890, the HP part number for a replacement fan set is L57170-001 and can be found here ($25.99), for example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08K4GYZ5K/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B08K4GYZ5K&pd_rd_w=a0Tyi&pf_....

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,
