Omen 17 cb0230ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I got myself an Omen 17 cb0230ng with no overheating issues and with an Intel Raid Option at the latest F.22 Bios, Stock.

I GUESS the thermal paste is slighly better at my Omen, maybe try to apply new paste like Arctic MX4 or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut? (That´s what I´ll do IF the temps ran over 90°C)

My main concern is about the RAM without XMP options.

Did u find a solution? Have u figured out if the 2x16gb Ballistix BL2K16G32C16S4B DDR4 PC4-25600 • CL=16 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR4-3200 • 1.35V work with smooth 2666MHz?

The Crucial Configurator recommends them to the Omen cb0*** Series.

The Stock Samsung RAMs taking 1.2V, this ones 1.35V and I have not a single option to Change anything in this lousy BIOS.

I hope you´re still on here and didn´t sell your Omen by now 🙂

Greetings from Germany

Daniel
