HP Printer Won't connect to wifi after changing router

HP Recommended
HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently installed a new router and now my wireless printer won't connect to the network.  It will connect if I have no security set up, but with WPA/WPA2 set on my router, i get a "incorrect network key" error message and my printer will not connect even though it is the correct key.  I've followed all the support directions to reset the printer wifi and reinstall my printer.  I've messed with my router settings as well.  The only thing I can't do on my router is select either WPA or WPA2, since it is a combined option.  I've even updgraded the firmware on my printer to see that would solve the issue.  Short of returning the printer, I'm not sure what else to do.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

Please do check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

Let me know if this helps.
