I am having an issue with my printer not booting up correctly. When I turn the printer on I get a blue screen with the HP logo in the top right corner and a loading bar at the bottom. The loading bar stops halfway through the load and freezes up. I've let it sit over night trying to load to no avail. I've unplugged the power source for 10 minutes and tried to restart it after that. I turned my wireless network off and tried to restart it. I tried to do a facorty hard reset by holding the bottom right corner of the display as it's booting up. I've tried to update the firmware but my PC does not see the printer on USB or wireless. Is this the printer blue screen of death? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @FrankySmutta,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I read your post and see that the printer won't boot up all the way. I will do my best to assist you with this issue. Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I will send you the correct reset for the printer, in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
Please let me know the results and if there is anything else I can help you with. Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to me @FrankySmutta.
Make sure there are no other cables connected to the printer, (ethernet, USB, fax) make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and try the Reset again. If the issue continues, please Contact HP Support for further assistance. Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance.
Have a nice day. Thank you.
