hello,

I installed the printer, the computer can see it but can't print test page it gives an error of invalid parameter. but it can only print PDFs if I go through the app HP SMART. If i want to print a document through word for example, it will show that the printer is ready and the print went but nothing is printed!!

I tried reinstalling, removing all drivers, printui.exe, restart print spooler, updated my windows, reboot........Nothing helped!!

Hi,

A such would likely occur due to any permission problem related to your operating system.

Type CMD into the search bar, right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.

Paste the following command and press Enter:

 

icacls "C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS" /grant users:(OI)(CI)F /T

Restart your computer and try printing again, then check if you may see any difference.

Hi Shlomi,

That's what I got after entering the command;

c:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\local\microsoft\windows\INetCache\Content.IE5\*: Access is successfully processed 0 files; Failed processing 1 files

 

And the printer still not printing properly , only pdf files!!
