My priner scans light and prints light on the right side of the page all the way down.  Print Quality is set to Best Quality and Ink levels are all at 80 - 90 percent full.    Does anyone have an issue with this?  Sometimes I can't read what's on the right side of the page it's so light.  Have even taken out the toner cartridges and shook them, thinking toner is not evenly distributed or something.   Please help!

Welcome to HP support community.

Check the EconoMode setting.

Turn off EconoMode in the print settings for computers with Windows.

  1. In the software application you are trying to print from, click File, and then click Print.

    The printer settings window opens.

  2. Select your printer from the Printer menu.

  3. Open the Properties dialog box.

Depending on the software application, the button might be Properties, Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences.

  4. Click the Paper/Quality tab, and then clear the EconoMode check box in the Print Quality section.

Print a cleaning page.

  1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe left, and then touch Setup.

  2. Touch Service, and then touch Cleaning Page.

  3. Load plain, white paper when you are prompted.

  4. Touch OK to begin the cleaning process.

  5. Try to print again to see if the issue is resolved,
