Hi, the touchscreen on my printer just stopped working.  I tried the suggestion on this forum to unplug and restart but without success.  I cannot update any firmware as the display is not working and so I cannot get to the settings menu.  I suspect the cost to replace the display panel (and labour) will run me near the cost of buying a new one.  It would be a shame to throw it away as the printer was otherwise working fine and is not that old.  Any advice would be appreciated.

We have seen issues when units are connected to surge protectors or UPS units or just an outlet without adequate power causing issues with the control panels, so the first thing to try would be relocate the device on a different circuit to test.
