Product: Laserjet1212nf
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New computer and new Windows 10 loaded but drivers I download from HP site are not the exact number for my printer and my computer says they are not compatable.

Hi,

Here are the latest drivers for your printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32629/Im-80811-7/LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution.exe

 

If nothing runs once the driver extracts, click the Start button and type %temp% into the search bar, then open the shown Temp folder.

Open the latest HP installation folder which begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234) ( you may sort it by Date Modified to locate the latest folder)
Double click HpSetup.exe and follow the installation.

Yes this helped and now up and running though I have nothing on my computer to print for test. Printer printed out a test sheet of it's own so probably good. I ever knew to look in the temp file for anything but hope to remember this one. Thanks muchly.
