Does the HDMI port on HDX 6000 transmit audio as well as video?

 

The reason I ask is I have connected the polycom to an AV receiver by a HDMI cable and the video output is perfect but I dont have any audio?

 

Thanks for any help ...

Yes, indeed.   Obviously problem is in your AV receiver
