Touch pad control - Sharing content

When pressing the content button on the touch screen we go to a new page with a small panel in the centre that reads ‘AUX’. This displays a picture of a VGA cable. When connecting the cable to a laptop and pressing the button to share content there is no response. We have disconnected the touch screen control and are able to share content without any problems when using the standard remote control.

The codec is a HDX 7000 HD with release version 3.0.3.1 - 19040.

The touch pad control is operating on system version 1.3.0 - 130

Welcome to the community.  First I would upgrade your codec to the latest, 3.0.4 and I would also upgrade your PTC to the latest Operating System v1.4.0 and PTC Panel Software v1.4.0.  Do these and try to share the content.  Let us know if this worked for you.

Having read the release notes, they do advise that the touch pad should be compatible at our current levels of firm/software?

That is correct.  Your codec should be on 3.0.4 and your PTC should be on 1.4.  If you are still having issues, you can also try to unpair the PTC from the codec and then re-pair it.  Please let us know if this works for you.
