i had problem with my printer ot accepting new network password when i changed companies but i found that printers(especially hp) are smarter than we think! after unplugging it and exhausting myself i read somewhere to hold button down on my modem for 3 seconds i really didnt think it would work but after holding button down for 3 seconds went to printer room and like magic it was saying connecting! it connected itself dug the password out of the air i guess im not to question how i know now my printer works like charm with three second fix! mind you,i had already put network name in so do that manually good luck i just had to share maybe save somebody from hours of frustration!
