Example: Pavilion 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am trying to plug in a stereo audio using the 3.5mm aux plug on the HP- and then play that to someone thru Skype. It isn't working. When I try to talk to them thru Skype with a headphone/ mic system from a phone it works fine- but when I plug in an Aix jack it does not. I notice the headphone/ mic has 3 rings the Aux 2 could this have something to do with it? Does the HP not work with an aux plug as a mic?

Or is there some sort of driver I have to use to make this happen?

It is a combo port and it should work with all standard headsets but it won't work as AUX nor LINE IN. It may not work with a stand alone Mic.

Regards.

Thanks- When I bought it I was told it would work as an Aux in- after 4 hours - figured it must not. Ha. Returning it I guess. Appreciate you letting us know we aren't crazy.
