NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)

Hi, I've a problem with my new envy ea100nl. I try to connect a guitar to the notebook (got the right jack to slpit mic and headphone). I use a program called Amptube) and it require WDM audio device. If I look to the tecnical specific the computer say that NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) is connected but when I go to the device menagement you can read the the device need another installation (ROOT\UNNAMED_DEVICE\0000).

What can I do?

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with Amptube. I will be glad to help you.

 

You could  try using the Windows Update Troubleshooting tool to fix any updates that have not come through for Windows.  Please restart the Notebook twice to make sure all update have been completed!
