Product: HP Spectre x360 - 15-bl012dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The internal speakers stopped working, no audio from the laptop, but the audio jack and the Bluetooth for external audio work fine.  I have tried all HP-recommended software and hardware tests, also the windows audio troubleshooting uninstalled and reinstalled the original HP audio driver but no luck.  The audio icon shows connected to high definition audio SST, but to sound.

 

The HP hardware component advanced test for the audio returns the following message,

Error Code:  107

Audio test Error :    MC4040-8PLB38-MFPURG-21V913

 

Can't believe a hardware fault and all the four speakers would have failed at the same time.
