Not sure if this is a Boot or Operating System issue so let me know if I need to move this to the other board.

I'm trying to enable virtualization on my computer, which can only be done from BIOS (or apparently in the case of Windows 10 UEFi). I've followed various tutorials online to access UEFI (Shift + Restart > Troubleshoot), but when I get to the troubleshoot menu where there should be access to UEFI-Firmware, there's just a link to Startup Options/Settings (I can't remember the name of it exactly as obviously I don't have it in front of me right now). From what I've read the access to UEFI can vary depending on manufacturer, so I was wondering if HP might have moved access to UEFI somewhere else? Any help ASAP would be much appreciated as I need access to this to study!

Hi,

You should be able to access this as follows.

Shutdown the notebook.

Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.

The option to enable virtualization should be found under the Advanced tab.....Device Settings.....Device Configuration.

Regards,
