Computer gets power but will not turn on. Amber light light for 5 seconds then shuts off

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My computer is getting power but screen is black and amber light turns on for 3 seconds then nothing.  I tried draining the power but still no change

I understand your laptop turn on but the screen remains blank. Don't worry, though, as I have a few recommendations which should help to resolve the issue,

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

 

Have you made any software or hardware changes on the PC?

What is the Operating System installed on the PC?

Was any update/reset interrupted, recently?

Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting this on HP Forums?

 

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

 

Perform a Hard Reset on the Notebook.

 

Connect to an external Monitor.

 

Attempt a Bios Recovery

 

Reseat Memory Module

 

Run the System Diagnostics test as well as extended test on the Hard drive and Memory from F2
