Cursor disappears from screen

The cursor for the mouse is not shown on the screen. But when i right and left click its function works. What do i do?its a wireless HP mouse for the desktop.

As I understand the external wireless mouse doesn't work, Although, you have nothing to worry about as I will guide you through this fix,

I will, however, need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:

 

What is the product number of your PC? Click here to find it (Don't share personal information such as serial, phone number, email, etc..).

Have you tried using it on an alternate USB port or an alternate computer? 

What steps have you performed so far to fix this on your own before posting on HP Forums?
